## About
This event connects Korean smart city and smart building startups with Seattle-area
city officials, infrastructure firms, and venture investors. The showcase takes place
June 1–5, 2026 in Seattle, WA. Application deadline: April 6, 2026.
Participation fee: $3,000 (scholarship support available for 2–3 outstanding companies).

The program includes 5 days of 1:1 meetings with public institution buyers, VC pitching
sessions, prime contractor partnership discussions, and pre-event online consulting
(April 27 – May 22) covering pitch coaching and US market localization strategy.

## Policy Context
Washington State Climate Commitment Act (CCA) mandates carbon-zero by 2050 and generates
$1B+ annually for cleantech investment. Seattle's Building Tune-Ups Ordinance requires
energy efficiency audits for all commercial buildings over 20,000 sq ft. The Clean Buildings
Performance Standard (HB 1257) imposes EUI limits on 50,000+ sq ft buildings with fines
for non-compliance. The US Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) allocates $1.2T
to infrastructure, including smart city, EV, broadband, and clean energy.
